Xiangtan Iron & Steel manganese purchasing price increases in Oct tender

The steelmaker settled the purchasing price of manganese nodule for its October tender at 19,000 yuan/mt

SHANGHAI, Sep 28 (SMM) – Xiangtan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd of Hunan Valin, settled the purchasing price of manganese nodule for its October tender at 19,000 yuan/mt this week, SMM learned.

This is 850 yuan/mt up from its September tender. The price would be paid in acceptance and includes transport costs and tax.

Procurement volume for the October tender stood at 900 mt.
