Aluminium billet stocks across five major consumption areas inched up 1,000 mt from a week ago to 117,200 mt as of Sep 27

SHANGHAI, Sep 27 (SMM) – Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China inched up some 1,000 mt from a week earlier to stand at 117,200 mt as of Thursday September 27, SMM data showed.

Downstream purchased at a slower pace than expected before the National Day holiday, and this accounted for the increase. Inventories in Nanchang saw the biggest decline on the week, as renovation of the Nanchang North Station deterred delivery.

Details:

Foshan, Guangdong – 78,000 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 15,500 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 14,000 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 4,800 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 4,900 mt
