Iron ore shipments leaving Brazil to grow further

Sixty-three vessels carrying 9.51 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during Sep 21-27

SHANGHAI, Sep 26 (SMM) – Sixty-three vessels carrying 9.51 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during September 21-27, down 350,000 mt from 9.86 million mt during September 14-20, SMM data showed.

For the same period, iron ore shipments departing Australian ports are likely to dip by 60,000 mt to stand at 15.95 million mt while those leaving Brazilian ports are likely to grow 590,000 mt to 7.88 million mt.
