SHANGHAI, Sep 19 (SMM) – China produced 1.19 billion units of lithium-ion batteries in August, down 9.6% from a month ago but up 17.8% from a year ago, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed.
This marked the first monthly decline in China’s lithium-ion battery output since April.
In January-August, the output stood at 9.04 billion units, up 10.2% from the same period last year.
