SHANGHAI, Sep 10 (SMM) – Retail sales of passenger vehicle in China fell 7.4% from a year ago to stand at 1.76 million units in August, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
The data also showed that a total of 716,527 units of sport utility vehicles (SUV) were sold in China last month, down 8.5% from the same period last year.
The passenger vehicle category includes sedans, SUV, multi-purpose vehicles (MPV) and mini-vans.
