Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills dips in mid Aug

Output during Aug 11-20 fell 1.94% from Aug 1-10 and stood at 1.91 million mt

SHANGHAI, Aug 31 (SMM) – Average daily output of crude steel across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills during August 11-20 fell 1.94% from August 1-10 and stood at 1.91 million mt, according to CISA data. 
 
For the same period, average daily output of crude steel across China is estimated at 2.43 million mt, down 1.74% from August 1-10. 
 
As of August 20, inventories of steel products across CISA member mills increased 3.32% from August 10 and came in at 12.34 million mt.
