Chinalco raises floor price of non-metallurgical grade alumina

Chinalco raised its floor price of non-metallurgical grade alumina to 3,500 yuan/mt on Aug 27, up 100 yuan/mt from Aug 17

SHANGHAI, Aug 28 (SMM) – The Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chinalco) raised its floor price of non-metallurgical grade alumina to 3,500 yuan/mt on August 27. This was up 100 yuan/mt from the floor price released on August 17.

Chinalco International Trading Co also raised the floor price of spot aluminium hydroxide, by 65 yuan/mt to 2,275 yuan/mt as of August 27, SMM learned.

Chinalco is China’s largest state-owned aluminium producer but also has some copper assets, including in Yunnan province.
