Wuhan Steel manganese purchasing price falls in Sept tender

Wuhan Iron and Steel settled the purchasing price of manganese nodule for its Sept tender 950 yuan/mt below its Aug tender

SHANGHAI, Aug 28 (SMM) – Wuhan Iron and Steel settled the purchasing price of manganese nodule for its September tender at 18,950 yuan/mt this week, SMM learned.

This is 950 yuan/mt below its August tender. The price would be paid in acceptance and includes transport costs and tax.

Procurement volume for the September tender stood at 2,400 mt.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the three-week lockdown on Monday March 23, including closing mines, starting from midnight Thursday March 26.
