Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills rebounds in early Aug

Average daily output of crude steel across CISA member mills during Aug 1-10 rose 1.6% from Jul 21-31

SHANGHAI, Aug 22 (SMM) – Average daily output of crude steel across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills during August 1-10 rose 1.6% from July 21-31 and stood at 1.94 million mt, according to CISA data. This came after a 2.5% drop during July 21-31. 

For the same period, average daily output of crude steel is estimated at 2.47 million mt, up 32,300 mt or 1.3% from July 21-31.

As of August 10, inventories of steel products across CISA member mills increased 4.4% from July 31 and came in at 11.94 million mt.
