SHANGHAI, Aug 16 (SMM) – Primary aluminium inventories across major consumption areas in China continued to decrease this week with limited arrivals, SMM learned as of Thursday August 16.
Stocks across eight consumption areas, including SHFE warrants, shrank some 14,000 mt from last Thursday and some 5,000 mt from Monday to stand at 1.761 million mt as of August 16, SMM data showed.
Details are as follows:
Wuxi, Jiangsu – 748,000 mt
Shanghai – 400,000 mt
Nanhai, Guangdong – 240,000 mt
Gongyi, Henan – 150,000 mt
Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 110,000 mt
Tianjin – 61,000 mt
Linyi, Shandong – 26,000 mt
Chongqing – 26,000 mt
