SHANGHAI, Aug 2 (SMM) – Chinese production of managanese in July grew 1% from June and stood at 108,200 mt, showed SMM data.
High profits drove some manganese plants in Guangxi to raise operating rates in July, and this accounted for the gains in production. Environmental suspensions in July lowered output in Huayuan county of Hunan province, and Xiushan of Chongqing city, SMM learned.
