Inventories of aluminium billet in China continued to grow over the week ended Jul 19 as consumption entered the low season

SHANGHAI, Jul 19 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China continued to grow over the week ended Thursday July 19 as consumption entered the low season.

Inventories of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas increased by 2,300 mt from last Thursday to stand at 70,800 mt, SMM data showed.

Details are as follows:

Foshan, Guangdong – 42,000 mt

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 5,600 mt

Changzhou, Jiangsu – 8,000 mt

Huzhou, Zhejiang – 7,600 mt

Nanchang, Jiangxi – 7,600 mt
