Aluminium inventory rebounds after 10 weeks of decline

China's inventory of primary aluminium across eight major markets inched up 17,000 mt to 1.82 million mt as of Monday

SHANGHAI, Jul 16 (SMM) – China's inventory of primary aluminium across eight major markets, including SHFE warrants, inched up 17,000 mt over the weekend to stand at 1.82 million mt as of Monday July 16, SMM data showed.

This marked a rebound after 10 consecutive weeks of decline, as more deliveries arrived during the weekend. 

Details are as follows:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 768,000 mt

Shanghai – 425,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 236,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 176,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 114,000 mt

Tianjin – 56,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 27,000 mt

Chongqing – 16,000 mt
