Weiqiao lowers prebaked anode buying price for seven straight months amid oversupply

Weiqiao Group has lowered its purchasing prices for prebaked anode by 100 yuan/mt for July

SHANGHAI, Jul 2 (SMM) – Weiqiao Group has lowered its purchasing prices for prebaked anode by 100 yuan/mt for July, marking a decline for seven months in a row, SMM learned.

The adjustment brought the prices this month to stand at 3,100 yuan/mt in cash and 3,135 yuan/mt on acceptance, SMM learned.

The July price followed a 190-yuan/mt cut for June amid oversupply in the market.

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Four new locomotives, Foussein, Lanny-Ninkin, Kaporo, and Gbereakhory have entered service on Guinea's TransGuinean corridor rail line, managed by La Compagnie du TransGuinéen (CTG).
