SHANGHAI, Jul 2 (SMM) – China's social inventory of primary aluminium declined slower over the weekend as downstream buyers' procurement enthusiasm cooled.
As of Monday July 2, inventories of primary aluminium, including SHFE warrants, across eight major consumption areas in China shrank 9,000 mt from last Thursday to stand at 1.84 million mt, SMM data showed. This compared with a drop of 15,000 recorded last Monday.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 774,000 mt
Shanghai – 429,000 mt
Nanhai, Guangdong – 241,000 mt
Gongyi, Henan – 179,000 mt
Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 108,000 mt
Tianjin – 57,000 mt
Linyi, Shandong – 28,000 mt
Chongqing – 19,000 mt
