DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Jun 25 (SMM) – A total of 600 mt of cobalt oxide (II,III) supply is likely to be affected by production cut or suspension at some suppliers, SMM learned.
A supplier in north China planned to suspend its production and undergo maintenance for 10 days due to sluggish demand. Another supplier in Zhejiang province in east China also told SMM that it would cut production on intensive environmental probes recently.
As of Friday June 22, SMM assessed cobalt oxide (II,III) at 430,000-440,000 yuan/mt, down 65,000 yuan/mt from 495,000-505,000 yuan/mt seen throughout April.
