SHANGHAI, June 20 (SMM) – Some 61 vessels with 9.04 million mt of iron ore are expected to arrive at major Chinese ports during June 15-21, SMM learned.
This is down 660,000 mt from 9.7 million mt during June 8-14 as arrivals at Tangshan, Hebei province are likely to decrease. Meanwhile, arrivals at Shandong province are likely to increase.
For the same period, volumes of iron ore departing Australian ports are likely to shrink 500,000 mt to 15.74 million mt. Those leaving Brazilian ports are likely to rise 320,000 mt to 8.13 million mt. Shipping from Brazilian ports resumed as routine port maintenance ended.
