Average LFP import prices in Mar fall to 17-year low

China imported 40.4 mt LFP in March, up 35.8 mt from February but down 106.6 mt from the same period last year, according to data from China Customs

SHANGHAI, May 8 (SMM) – Average import prices of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) stood at $7,000/mt in March, a new low within 17 years. China imported 40.4 mt LFP in March, up 35.8 mt from February but down 106.6 mt from the same period last year, according to data from China Customs.

LFP imports were mostly from Taiwan.
