SHANGHAI, Apr 30 (SMM) – Industrial manufacturers in Shengfang town, Bazhou, Hebei province have been required to cut production in response to the region’s orange alert of heavy pollution from April 28, SMM learned. This is the second-highest alert in China's four-tier emergency response system.
Each plant will adopt individualised production control policy, which include cutting production during a particular time, rotating cutback among plants, reducing air pollutant emissions, or improving the efficiency of pollution control measures, etc.
It is unclear when the restrictions would be lifted.
