SHANGHAI, Apr 11 (SMM) – Operating rates at China’s secondary aluminium producers rose to 61% in March, from 46.2% in February, an SMM survey showed.
However, it was still lower than January’s 65%. Sources said that downstream demand remains weak and SMM expects operating rates in April to edge down further.
