All steel mills in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province were required to be suspended for rectification following a provincial environmental protection inspection, market talk suggested.

SHANGHAI, Apr 11 (SMM) – All steel mills in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province were required to be suspended for rectification following a provincial environmental protection inspection, market talk suggested.

Steel mills in the city are only allowed to resume production after being an examination to be qualified, SMM learned. Xuzhou Dongya and Xuzhou Huahong were heard to have already ceased production.
