SHANGHAI, Apr 8 (SMM) – China produced 3.03 million mt of aluminium in March, down 2.7% year on year, according to SMM data.
This brought the total output for the first quarter of this year to 8.76 million mt, down 2.5% from the corresponding period last year. The decrease was mostly due slower commissioning of new capacity resulted from lower aluminium prices and profit losses.
