Tin ingot producer Gejiu Jinye Renewable Technology plans to cut its 2018 output by 20-30%, SMM learned.

SHANGHAI, Apr 2 (SMM) – Tin ingot producer Gejiu Jinye Renewable Technology plans to cut its 2018 output by 20-30%, SMM learned.

This was mainly due to the higher costs of raw material procurement and environmental protection measures. The higher impurities in raw materials have also brought about more difficulties in production, according to the company.

Gejiu Jinye Renewable produced 3,000 mt of tin ingots in 2017.
