Output of high-grade nickel pig iron (NPI) at a plant in north China is likely to fall below 5,000 physical mt in March, given environmental concerns.

SHANGHAI, Mar 21 (SMM) – Output of high-grade nickel pig iron (NPI) at a plant in north China is likely to fall below 5,000 physical mt in March, given environmental concerns. The figure was revised from 6,800 physical mt in an earlier estimation, SMM surveyed.

The plant's estimated March production will account for 1.5% of China's output for the month.
