Operating rates for copper rods drops in Feb

Operating rates in China's copper rod industry fell 6.6 percentage points on a yearly basis and 23.6 percentage points on a monthly basis to stand at 47.7% in February, an SMM survey found.

SHANGHAI, Mar 9 (SMM) – Operating rates in China's copper rod industry fell 6.6 percentage points on a yearly basis and 23.6 percentage points on a monthly basis to stand at 47.7% in February, an SMM survey found.

The rate is expected to rise 2.2 percentage points, from March 2017, to stand at 71.6% in March 2018.
