SHANGHAI, Mar 7 (SMM) – China produced 12,200 mt of refined nickel in February, up 19.6% on a monthly basis, but down 13.9% from the same month last year, SMM data showed.
The month-on-month rise was mostly contributed by the production recovery at one smelter in north-west China, whose operations were impacted in January due to a fire accident and security check.
