The State Grid Corporation of China plans to invest 498.9 billion yuan in power grid in 2018, up 7.1% year on year, SMM learned.
SHANGHAI, Mar 6 (SMM) – The State Grid Corporation of China plans to invest 498.9 billion yuan in power grids in 2018, SMM learned. This is up 7.1% from 465.7 billion yuan planned in 2017.
Last year, actual investment amounted to 485.36 billion yuan, down 2.2% from that in 2016. Historical figures suggested that actual spending typically exceeds the planned investment.
