Weiqiao Group has lowered its prebaked anode purchasing price by 200 yuan/mt for March at 3,890-4,050 yuan/mt delivered, SMM learned.

SHANGHAI, Mar 1 (SMM) – Weiqiao Group has lowered its prebaked anode purchasing price by 200 yuan/mt for March at 3,890-4,050 yuan/mt delivered, SMM learned.

The March price followed a 150-yuan/mt cut for February, showing signs of an oversupplied prebaked anode market.
