SHANGHAI, Feb 27 (SMM) – Global crude steel output in January rose 0.8% year on year to stand at 139.4 million mt, according to data from the World Steel Association.
China's output fell 0.9% to 67 million mt, Japan's output inched up 0.3% to 9 million mt and India's output rose 2.5% to 9 million mt.
