Flash: Aluminium inventory grows closer to 2 million mt

SHANGHAI, Feb 22 (SMM) – China’s social inventory of aluminium including SHFE warrants amounted to 1.96 million mt as of Thursday February 22, according to SMM data. This is up from 1.82 million mt recorded on Wednesday February 14, before the Chinese New Year holiday.

Details are as follows:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 829,000 mt

Shanghai – 403,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 289,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 180,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 144,000 mt

Tianjin – 57,000 mt

Chongqing – 25,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 32,000 mt
