First drop in iron ore port inventory in two months

Iron ore port inventory declined this week, a first in the last two months.

SHANGHAI, Jan 26 (SMM)-Iron ore port inventory declined this week, a first in the last two months. 

As at January 26, the total inventory of 35 ports stands at 141.21 million mt, down 1.6 million mt on a weekly basis, according to SMM statistics. The daily average throughput volume has surged 190,000 mt to 2.45 million mt.
