Flash: China's aluminium inventory down on pre-CNY restocking

SHANGHAI, Jan 25 (SMM) – China’s social inventory of aluminium including SHFE warrants stood at 1.77 million mt on Thursday January 25, down 19,000 mt from a week ago, SMM data showed. This is due to restocking ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday in mid-February.

Details are as follows:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 747,000 mt

Shanghai – 384,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 272,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 143,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 117,000 mt

Tianjin – 55,000 mt

Chongqing – 24,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 23,000 mt
