Flash: Maintenance at Lianyuan Steel to affect 350,000 mt output

Lianyuan Steel in Hunan province plans to put one 2,200-cubic-meter blast furnace in maintenance from February 1 to March 31, which will affect 350,000 mt of output, SMM learned.

SHANGHAI, Jan 24 (SMM)-Lianyuan Steel in Hunan province plans to put one 2,200 m3 blast furnace in maintenance from February 1 to March 31, which will affect 350,000 mt of output, SMM learned.

In the meantime, two hot-rolled production lines will also be put in maintenance. One of them will be off for 12 days from January 30 to February 10 with 78,000 mt of production affected, while the other will be out for eight days during March 1-8 with 98,000 mt of output affected.
