Suspended smelters in Henan province are unlikely to resume production as the heavily-polluted weather intensifies with no signs of improvement.

SHANGHAI, Jan 19 (SMM)-Suspended smelters in Henan province are unlikely to resume production as the heavily-polluted weather intensifies with no signs of improvement. 

In addition to previous environmental measures, Anyang, Zhengzhou and Jiyuan City were asked to reduce emissions by 30% or more. These include emissions of sulphur dioxide, nitric oxide, smoke and dust.
