Report: China’s special-purpose new-energy vehicle output surge in Nov

China tripled its production of new-energy vehicles for special purposes in November to 38,700 units, according to data from EV Partner.

Sales figures last month also saw more than 200% of growth month on month to 28,937 units.

Special-purpose vehicles refer to those equipped with special equipment to undertake various functions, such as transportation vans, cleaning trucks, and mail cars, etc.

For the first 11 months of 2017, China’s production of special-purpose new-energy vehicles amounted to 95,273 units while sales for the same period stood at 62,607 units.

Chile’s state-owned Codelco reported H1FY2026 molybdenum production of 6,500 tonnes, down 14.5% from 7,600 tonnes in the same period of 2025. Molybdenum sales totaled 7,600 tonnes, down 5% from 8,000 tonnes a year earlier. The decline in production indicates a notable YoY contraction in Codelco’s by-product molybdenum supply.
