The Indonesian government is planning to raise the annual levies on nickel ore to 10% from the current 5%, SMM understood.

SHANGHAI, Dec 14 (SMM)－The Indonesian government is planning to raise the annual levies on nickel ore to 10% from the current 5%, SMM understood. This would mean an increase in costs for nickel ore miners who have received the quota.

SMM will continue to follow up on details of this proposal.
