China's domestic rare earth market saw more trading actions this week, preventing prices from falling further.

SHANGHAI, Dec 13 (SMM)-China's domestic rare earth market saw more trading actions this week, preventing prices from falling further. Market sources told SMM that Pr-Nd was being booked in big volumes yesterday, and that praseodymium oxide would easily cost more than 280,000 yuan/mt in some regions.

In the near term, support from downstream demand would be key to the sustainability of price rebound.
