Recycle of Lithium power battery scrap to boom in 2020

The recycling market of lithium power battery will begin to take shape in early 2018 and reach 37Gwh scrap volume in 2020 with a market size of 11.1 billion yuan.

SHANGHAI, Dec.12 (SMM)－Recycle of lithium power battery scrap will come in near future. The recycling market of lithium power battery will reach 14.03Gwh in 2018, as per 3-year battery lifetime of commercial vehicle and 5-year battery lifetime of passenger vehicle with recycling value of 0.3 yuan/wh.

The recycling market of lithium power battery will begin to take shape in early 2018 and reach 37Gwh scrap volume in 2020 with a market size of 11.1 billion yuan.

Concerning battery types, lithium iron phosphate has more inventory, which will be the first to move into scrap boom.
