A new wave of price increase seems to have been formed with 13 tyres companies releasing such notices since Dec.1st.

SHANGHAI, Dec.6 (SMM)－A new wave of price increase seems to have been formed with 13 tyres companies releasing such notices since Dec.1^st. SMM learned that the movement is mainly due to stricter environmental policies and rising carbon black and ingredients prices.

In addition, rising zinc oxide price is another factor driving the tyre prices due to it being an important component of tyres. SMM believes higher zinc prices will gradually be passed on to end-user customers.
