SMM Exclusive Morning Comments (Dec.5)

SHANGHAI, Dec.5 (SMM)-

Copper: Contract 1802 of SHFE Copper moves from 53,000-53,550 yuan per ton. Rising spot price and premium price weakens buying power. With 10 days to go for the delivery, need to pay attention to influence of basis every other month on premium. Today premium is expected to move between flat to 60 yuan per ton.

Aluminium: Today SHFE Aluminium will keep volatile between 14,500-14,830 yuan per ton under pressure of 5-day moving average. Spot premium is between discount 180-140 yuan per ton.

Zinc: SHFE Zinc failed to stand above all moving averages, losing support of 40-day moving average. With below various averages converging, it may get supported. Under tightened spot stock, SHFE Zinc is to move between 25,100-25,550 yuan per ton.

Nickel: Today LME Nickel is expected to recover upward. Main Contract 1805 of SHFE Nickel is to move between 91,600-93,200 yuan per ton, with spot price 91,200-92,700 yuan per ton.

Tin: Last night SHFE Tin moved volatile around 5-day moving average, failing to keep upward tendency. Today it is to move between 141,000-142,000 yuan per ton.

Lead: SHFE Lead rushed high and then dropped. With great pressure at upper 19,000 and firm support of below various moving averages, lead price is probably to keep reorganizing with ranges in the short term.
