Zinc Price Slumps below 25,000, how will it Go Next?

Recently zinc price follows base metals’ tendency, dropping below 25,000.

SHANGHAI, Dec.1 (SMM)－Recently zinc price follows base metals’ tendency, dropping below 25,000. Main contact 1801 of SHFE Zinc tested 24,585 yuan per ton at bottom. SMM learned since December, some mining enterprises will suspend production due to weather conditions in Inner Mongolia, Tibet and Xinjiang, leading reducing output of concentrate. With limited imported zinc concentrate, TC in December will probably go down, which supports zinc price. SMM predicts zinc price will stop dropping and stabilize later.
