Nickel Pig Iron Output May Decrease in Inner Mongolia

A notice of electricity restriction was given to Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, affecting nickel pig iron output.

SHANGHAI, Nov 22 (SMM) – A notice of electricity restriction was given to Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia. However, when and how will the restriction be applied are still unsure. Such restriction was applied previously for at most one week. According to SMM’s research, the output of nickel pig iron from Inner Mongolia was 3,800 tons in October, 9% of the total production in China.
