Without more good news, SHFE Zinc is estimated to move between 24,650-25,150 yuan per tonne.

SHANGHAI, Nov.17 (SMM)－LME Zinc moves extremely instable. Although the low LME inventory during past ten years stimulates the bulls, with bearish atmosphere, LME Zinc is estimated to move between $3,120-3,165 per tonne. Today need to focus on US building license and housing start rate. SHFE Zinc moves weak, failing to stand above 15,000 yuan. Without more good news, SHFE Zinc is estimated to move between 24,650-25,150 yuan per tonne. Premium of 0#Spot Zinc again December is estimated to keep 240-320 yuan.

Total zinc ingots inventories across seven major markets in China stood at 284,100 mt as of April 15, up 6,100 mt from April 8, down 3,700 mt from April 11.

At the online market live conference hosted by SMM, Liu Xiaoyi, SMM senior analyst of new energy industry, shared her review and forecast on the supply and demand of China's lithium market in the first quarter of 2022. According to Liu, driven by the slow production of lithium mines and the high growth rate of new energy market demand in 2021 and 2022, the prices of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide will rise all the way, and then the lithium salt prices will pull back slightly after the downstream demand is met by the increasing capacities.
