Zinc Spot in Shanghai, Nov 15

SHANGHAI, Nov 15 (SMM) – The main price range of 0#zinc is 25,400 – 25,590 yuan / ton in Shanghai. 0#zinc from Chinese brands is at a 320 yuan / ton premium than ZN1712, with 0#Shuangyan at a 300 – 320 yuan / ton premium. 1#zinc’s price range is 25,330 – 25,480 yuan / ton. Zinc futures had a sharp decline last night, and ZN1712 went on with a smaller falling trend after the opening, closing at 25,145 yuan / ton this morning. Zinc price cracked and smelters were reluctant to sell. Downstream is willing to purchase at the low price, and the products are mainly zinc imports at low premiums. It brings more transaction on the market.
