－As per SMM research, average operating rat of zinc oxide from January to September is 58.06%, rising 2.06% on yearly basis.

SHANGHAI, Nov.10 (SMM)－As per SMM research, average operating rat of zinc oxide from January to September is 58.06%, rising 2.06% on yearly basis. Sales and production of autos in 2017 is generally good. Overall tyre demand stimulates increase of operating rate of zinc oxide plants.

Supply Concerns Intensify, SHFE Zinc Rises [SMM Zinc Morning Comment]

[SMM Zinc Morning Comment] Overnight, the most-traded SHFE zinc 2606 contract opened at 24,255 yuan/mt. At the beginning of the session, bulls increased open interest, and SHFE zinc fluctuated upward all the way to a high of 24,550 yuan/mt before trading in a range. It finally closed up at 24,445 yuan/mt, gaining 360 yuan/mt or 1.49%. Trading volume fell to 76,020 lots, and open interest increased by 4,663 lots to 88,353 lots.
