SHANGHAI, Nov.9 (SMM)－The main transaction price range of 0# zinc is 25,780 – 25,900 yuan / ton in Shanghai. Chinese brand #0 zinc stays at a 220 – 270 yuan / ton premium than CU1712, with Shuangyan 0# zinc at a 240 – 270 yuan / ton premium. The main transaction price range of 1# zinc is 25,680 – 25,800 yuan / ton. Shortage of supply in today’s market is obvious. Premiums of Chinese brand zinc spots are climbing in spite of the increasing zinc stock in Shanghai. Many downstream consumers turn to zinc imports because of the supply shortage of Chinese brands, and the number of deals rebounds in terms of downstream consumption.
