Regulation Works, Lianyungang Port “Loses Much Weight” of Rare Earth Export

Rare earth export of Lianyungang Port from January to October reaches 51,394 kilos, valuing at $2.523 million, dropping 18.18% and 12.5% on yearly basis.

SHANGHAI, Nov.9 (SMM)-As per Jiangsu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, rare earth export of Lianyungang Port from January to October reaches 51,394 kilos, valuing at $2.523 million, dropping 18.18% and 12.5% on yearly basis. Value on unit rises 6.9%. Main export products are lanthana, gadolinia, terbia and erbia, etc. In order to protect limited resources and resolve long-term low price of rare earth, the State Council has released various regulating policies including Development Plan of Rare Earth Industry from 2015, leading the industry in converting from blind expansion to benign development.
