SHANGHAI, Nov.8 (SMM)－As per independent research data of SMM, the domestic nickel sulfate output is about 332,600 tonnes in 2017, rising 26.95% by 70,600 tonnes on yearly basis. Domestic nickel sulfate plants have an obvious expansion in output in 2018. Domestic capacity in 2018 will surge to 440,000 tonnes, rising 25.71%, with output reaching 418,000 tonnes, rising 31.61% on yearly basis. SMM thinks plants are all shifting its production focus to battery-grade nickel sulfate since it has great potential in consumption market in the future.
