Time for Large-area Production Suspension of Silicon Plants in Sichuan being Confirmed

It is estimated the large-area production suspension of silicon plants in Sichuan will begin from late November.

SHANGHAI, Nov.2 (SMM)－Many places in Sichuan has implemented electricity price of normal season form Oct.25^th. Silicon plants in Liangshan, Ya’an City plan to suspend their production after using up raw materials. Hence some silicon plants are reluctant to sell out and plan to sell out after production suspension. SMM learned currently most silicon plants have raw materials which can meet at least 20 days’ production. It is estimated the large-area production suspension of silicon plants in Sichuan will begin from late November.
