In 2017, Indonesia is estimated to export 4.20-5 million tonnes of medium and high-grade nickel ore to China in 2017, based on export schedules and speed at local mines.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 27 (SMM) – In 2017, Indonesia is estimated to export 4.20-5 million tonnes of medium and high-grade nickel ore to China in 2017, based on export schedules and speed at local mines.

The country’s exports of low-grade nickel ore to China will likely reach 800,000 tonnes-1 million tonnes over the year by the nation’s customs in the name of iron ore, and this will bring total exports of nickel ore from Indonesia to China up to 5-6 million tonnes in 2017.
